DRAINTUBE^® FTP offers a suitable solution for draining infiltrated rainwater and providing the permanent cover of mine tailings storage facilities with a water barrier.

This product is the combination, by means of needling, of DRAINTUBE^® FT with a polyethylene film. It makes it possible in just one operation to install filtration, rainwater drainage and a water barrier on the cover of mine tailings storage facilities.

Covers play a key role in environmental protection. With acid-generating residue, it eliminates the need for AMD (acid mine drainage) by limiting exchanges with the atmosphere.

As a result, DRAINTUBE^® FTP is a first-class technical alternative. In addition to being low-cost and very easy to implement, it has a better impact on the environment as it replaces granular layers, and reduces or eliminates the transport of these resources.

Connection to the collector via the Quick Connect system

The Quick Connect system directly connects the mini-drains from the DRAINTUBE^® FTP to the main collector drain. In the event of gas drainage, it generates negative pressure in the entire system.
